Colorado Gives Day

Colorado Gives Day is a statewide movement to increase online giving.  This year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are presenting Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Donations are accepted at ColoradoGives.org. Colorado Gives Day is one of the most successful events of its kind in the nation. Since its inception in 2010, the event has raised more than $217 million for Colorado nonprofits. 

Colorado Gives Day features the missions, programs and finances of more than 2,500 Colorado nonprofits.  Each organization’s online profile is screened by the Community First Foundation to ensure specific standards are met before they are added to the program.  Colorado Gives Day unites all Coloradans in a common goal to strengthen the state’s nonprofits by giving to their favorite charities online. 

Colorado Gives Day also features a $1 Million Incentive Fund, created by Community First Foundation and FirstBank.  It is one of the largest gives-day incentive funds in the country. Every donation made through ColoradoGives.org on Colorado Gives Day is boosted by the fund, which increases the value of every dollar.

This year, Latina SafeHouse has set an aggressive goal for Colorado Gives Day!   We are hoping to have 150 households support us and our mission with a one-time or recurring gift.   Our goal is to raise over $20,000 in this year’s campaign. The need in the community has never been greater - it is growing exponentially!  Last year, we served over 150 women and children. This year we are on course to support 300 individuals!!!
