The mission of the Latina SafeHouse is to provide bilingual and culturally sensitive services to Latina survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Our unique organization incorporates understanding of what Latina domestic abuse victims may be experiencing and how to overcome these circumstances. We are sensitive to the cultural aspects that may influence someone to stay in a situation that is damaging to themselves and/or their family. Our staff is fluent in Spanish and provides compassionate, caring and culturally responsive services.
Our principal goal is to empower Spanish-speaking Latina victims of domestic violence to move beyond the cycle of violence and achieve healthy independence. Latina SafeHouse advocates and educates, to increase community awareness and access to domestic violence victims services.
